Reading your e-mail on an Android phone such as a Samsung only takes a few steps to set up. Follow our guide below to configure your Gmail app on Android to work with your domain's e-mail.
QUICK GUIDE FOR EXPERIENCED USERS
- Create a new e-mail account on your phone and use the full email address as the username, with the password that has been supplied by support.
- mail server is IMAP, server address is mail.yourdomain.com
- Incoming port is 993, Outgoing port is 587
- Security is TLS (Accept all certificates)
DETAILED STEP BY STEP GUIDE
STEP 1
Click on the hamburger icon at the top left of the screen to open up Gmail options.
STEP 2
Now click on the arrow to reveal the Add New Account Option. Sometime this may appear as a gear icon.
STEP 3
Click ADD ACCOUNT on the following screen

When asked for the server type, please select IMAP. This ensures you can read your mail from all over your devices.

Your username is the FULL email address, ie johnsmith@mydomain.com
The password is supplied by our support staff by e-mail. When typing the password, be sure to include any special characters such as # and observe upper and lower case letters.

For the Outgoing Server Settings the port should be set to 587 and the security type should be set to STARTTLS (accept all certificates), as shown in the image below.
